NetSetGO is Netball Australia's official junior starter program, designed to help young players build fundamental netball skills in a playful and supportive environment. Children learn throwing, catching, footwork, teamwork and movement through weekly sessions that focus on fun and building confidence. No experience needed - just runners and enthusiasm.
Many of our NetSetGO graduates go on to join our competitive teams and represent St Monica's Netball Club in the Essendon District Netball Association (EDNA). This next step begins with our 9 & Under teams for players aged 7-9.
Our 9 & Under players continue to build on NetSetGO foundations, learning through modified rules, lower rings and a "learn as you play" coaching approach. These teams train midweek at St Monica's Primary and play on Saturday afternoons at Riverside Netball Courts in Ascot Vale.
Joining a 9 & Under team is a wonderful next chapter in your child's netball journey - with structured team play, uniforms, regular matches and even end-of-season trophies!
Registrations for our 9 & Under teams open twice yearly:
